Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows a good (cheap) place to purchase the kit to allow me to use and charge an ipod through the audio 10 unit in my C class. (04 pre f/l).

Also any hints on how to fit it? An idiots guide would not go unappreciated. ;)

Apparently there is no kit for our C Class of that spec/date. (I emailed Comand.co.uk) I too, would like to know if there is a way of powering and playing an ipod throught the unit. Does the Audio 10 have an aux in at all or do we have to get one of those cigar lighter transmitter adapters? Any ideas anyone?

As far as I know, Audio 10 does not have AUX support, but there area third party adapters that connect to the fibre loop.

Yep, there is no AUX input for audio 10. Thats only available with Comand and it doesnt charge the ipod or allow it to be controllable from the comand or steering wheel controls.

Dension make a product that goes someway towards giving you what you want but it will be at the expense of having a CD changer.

Thanks for reply. In the meantime I have been researching bits of kit (Dension) but they are not cheap and then there's the installation too. (do you have to buy a cd changer too or just the interface?) Are these FM transmitters any good? anyone use one?

Is this a MOST or a D2B based W203? I only found a D2B device from the above link. A 2004 car should be MOST based (don't know for W203)?

Thanks guys, I did see these in my research but felt £280 + installation was quite a lot to run an ipod? the transmiters get good reviews and seem to be about £30 or so, does anyone use them?
