Idiot....

Maybe to to compensate for the fact that the gap infront of the van had disappeared as a result of having to brake for the Corsa?

Then obviously the driver of the "Cam car" should have dropped back to pull in behind the van.

I didn't see any sign of heavy braking.

Can't see the bonnet dip @ 00:04?

So, he should've pulled in behind the van then, instead of undertaking it.

Idiot...!!

He didn't undertake anyone, he merged in front, with plenty of space.

You seem to be focusing on someone merging more than someone who is crossing a solid line for some reason?

I don't see the post from anyone crossing a white line.

Is there one?

I watched the link, but don't see a post from anyone that crossed the line, hence I'm not concentrating on their post.

All I see s a whinging, mitherer trying to justify their own shortcomings. If it's someone you know, maybe you could have a word. :)

No whinging here at all, however if you fail to see the error of the Corsa driver, maybe you need a word also :thumb:

I'm intersted Dieselman, do you see any fault in the Corsa driver at all?

A simple yes or no will suffice!

You could see there was a transit in the lane you were joining yet made no attempt to slow down, even though they have right of way, aswell as seeing the Corsa up ahead.

Without the Corsa slamming on brakes you would have cut up the transit anyway (it which you did), as with all these videos the driver is as much as fault as the other vehicle IMO.

Ok, fair enough the Corsa slammed on brakes, Person obviously didn't know area/turn off. + at least they where indicating.

I think that your actions against the transit equal that of the Corsa drivers IMO

Hardly worth downloading it to PC then all the effort of uploaded online is it?

My actions???

Probably took me less time and effort to link it than it took you to comment on it!

Driver with the car cam was driving too fast if you ask me

Okay, based on your claim, do you have a scientific reason or any units of measurement to support your post?

Ok I must have watched the footage about 50 times!

Had the Corsa remained in the same lane and driving at the same speed, I think the Merc would have easily merged behind the Corsa without causing the Transit driver to brake hard, probably ease off the gas to keep the distance, not perfect, but I wouldn't say it's as dangerous as the Corsa cutting across!!

In the footage, it appears to me the Corsa was slowing down (BEFORE the said haphazard manoeuvring) just as the Merc overtaking the transit! So the gap had reduced considerably!

You are 100% in the wrong here OP.

All this could have been avoided if you had eased off & joined the motorway behind the transit, a manoeuvre that would have added about 5 seconds to your journey.

I've watched it again and it still looks fine.

I've experienced drivers doing the same to me and it is no problem at all.

Corsa shouldn't have done that and I would have steered to the right when he started cocking around as you can usually guess the intention of **** piggery.

I don't read the Daily Mail.

Totally agree...the cam car was doing fine until the Corsa suddenly braked and changed course...he steered to the left because he was aware of the Transit...then went right, probably because the Transit was also aware of what was going on and slowed to allow him in.

An excuse for swerving across a motorway you say?

Hmmm.....

Couldn't have put it better....

Not really, but stuff happens on the roads. It's not really worth having a rant about it.

This is the danger of too many do-gooders having dash cameras.

The Corsa was in the wrong but it didn't kill any kittens. All is good, nobody got hurt.

Strange comment, unless you drive like a tool.

I don't think that dash cams have anything to do with do-gooders tbh.

With all the crash for cash scams they could become very useful.
