Informing MB of a number plate change

Just wondering what the procedure is, if any, about a change of number plates when it comes to informing Mercedes?

The car is due in for its first service in October so can I just inform the dealer I am taking it to for its service as the car is on a service plan or do I have to post off the registration document to MB?

Also do they charge a fee for this?

No problem, when it's due it's service just book it in as normal and they'll update their paperwork. They should be able to cross reference from the VIN when they have the vehicle.

changed mine a couple of months ago no hassle just rang merc warrantry and they changed it

Only problem that I've had is that MB question which vehicle I have when booking in for a service.
They can't or won't delete my previous car
