Instrument panel

I have an E Class w210 on a Y plate.
I changed the instument panel as a number of pixels were missing. I assumed that information i.e mileage etc would be transferred electronicly, but it hasnt. my mileage should read 214k and this panel shows 114k.
Am i missing something or am I stuck with new reading ?

You need Star Diagnosis to transfer the reading and service history, configuration etc. There are limitations as to what can be set on a "used" cluster, so often clusters have to be zero'd (by a cluster reset company..) before this can be done. However, I seem to recall that the older clusters can be set forward, and can be zero'd if mileage less than 100. Newer car clusters are significantly more difficult.
