I have an audio 10 unit with a cassete player. For some time, i've been using a cassette adapter to play music from an MP3 player. Since last year, i've progressed to playing music from my smart phone instead of an MP3 player.
I have noticed that when the wire of the cassette adapter gets close to a mobile phone, it seems to pick up interference from the phone. It sounds like loud beeps. This problem seems to occur more often nowadays with using a phone to play the music because the adapter wire is obviously going to be close to the phone at all times.
Does anybody else see this behaviour, or have a solution?
If i change the header unit for one with a line input (to connect the wire from my phone direct to the unit), will i suffer the same problem?
