Hello All,

Looking for some assistance, i have damaged some panels in my car stupidly trying to transport some stuff - two questions really :-

Does anyone have an idea how to remove these panels ( the panel surrounding the gear stick and the one next to it on the passenger side - i shall try and get some photos) ?

Also does anyone know a place where i can get my hands on these parts ? Apart from Mercedes direct who want me to give in a lim...

Mercedes Benz Part No: 20368039399D12 x 1
20368065509D12 x 1

Mercedes C180 54 Reg

Any help with this would be great

Thanks Gary

Would not it be cheaper to have them re covered in leather, or do it your self, its easy to work with, and you just beat it over a dolly to shape it ,and glue with an impact adhesive

Photos are better in case we are taliking of the wrong parts

Thanks Malcolm,

Photo now attached, does sound like a good - idea only problem is getting the panels off.

Cheers Gary

Warm it up carefully with a hairdryer , or if you are the outdoor sort a haredryer . Maybe just maybe it will be enough to relieve that damage.

Inchcape want £25 and £256 respectively!

I use a local company to repair damage like this.. The company i use are called Trim-Technique... Im sure you could find a similar outfit in Glasgow...

A lot of these SMART repair companies also do interiors..

Sadly it is not leather, the backing has been cut, almost impossible to buy the same.
Either recover the console in leather or a new one, I dont think that heat will help

Second thoughts any chance of finding one from a breaker, that would be the best
