Intermittant caliper issue

Hi Guys,

I have an intermittant fault with my front right brake caliper, get out the car and can feel the brakes have been on a bit during a drive, no feeling in the car when driving but can smell the brakes have been on a bit. Only happened to my knowledge about 3 times in 3 months.

Any ideas? the wheel and caliper are a bit warmer than the other side but not extreme.

MB are going to do some diagnostics but noe sure what it will throw up.

Calliper must be seized. The rubber gators sometimes come off the slide rods and allow grit to get in.

It could well be a partially seized calliper, but perhaps the automatic brake priming and/or brake drying has a fault?
