Hello everyone,
my name is Paulo Neves, I live in Portugal and I am an enthusiast of Mercedes Benz in a long time ...
since the W203 model came out to the market that I always dreamed of having a station ... that dream has now been fulfilled ...
however there are some details that I need to solve 100% satisfied with my purchase.
so far detected some faults / malfunctions:
• sporadically goes into limp mode, I can not identify what happens before to highlight the cause, but I suppose it's a dirty MAF or dysfunctional.
• there is a click when I turn on the car, repetitive, coming from behind the radio ... I suspect a broken rod, in the air conditioning system (passenger foot well)
• the volume button of the Comand / SATNAV does not work, despite everything else working perfectly (AUX input, CD Player, Radio, GPS ... etc..)
• on the left side, front, there is a parking sensor that goes into failure in the most humid days or when I wash the car ... sunny and dry weather, works flawlessly ...

I hope I can count on your goodwill and expertise to help me make my MERCS impeccable and flawless ...

olá... viva... é bom ver que também se fala em Português por estas bandas... ;)

(well, hi there... it is good to notice that Portuguese is spoken around here also...)

Welcome Paulo!

The issue with the clicking you describe sounds like one of the common faults on the W203 C Class and W209 CLK. I believe it's due to a broken plastic cog, unfortunately to fix this typically requires the removal of the entire dashboard!

thank you for your wellcoming words...

just as I was suposing... until my wife ultimate me about her cold feet, I think I'll postpone this repair... I'll begin with the onde that realy bugs me... MAF and EGR cleaning...
