ipod interface problem

just bought an ipod interface (B6 782 42 52) and tried to fit to my 2005 clk with audio 20 and cd changer in glove box . when it's installed I get no sound from speakers , steering wheel controls work ok .
I hope I have got the right unit !!!!

Check the loom
On some models you have to swap a plug from the original car loom into the iPod interface loom,
The interface loom on some did not match up,
It unclipd from car loom & there is a slot in the interface loom for it to slot into

The orange fibre cables need swapping out into the adaptor loom. Other than that should work if you can see in the dash display and operate with the telephone buttons on the steering wheel.
