Is MB coolant supposed to be clear yellow?
It is this yellow --->

Just checking... thanks! :)

MB coolant comes in yellow or blue.....my recent purchase from a MB dealer was blue. To be on the safe side purchase coolant from your dealer....as I understand it MB Coolant is to MB's own formula.

depends on type used some green blue some longlife red read manual check with stealership and more important than what it looks like is the concentration defn no more than 50 % by the way in the uk 33 to 40 is fine wetter coolant is better than too much coolant because car runs cooler slightly

Jimmy will probably correct me but, MB coolant from the factory is yellow. This has the same life as the dark green 3-year antifreeze readily available.
Blue is normally 2-year and red is five year.

Changing the antifreeze is important because the corrosion inhbitors break down with heat and age.
Change it every two to three years and your head and head gasket will have a long and happy life.
