Hi all

I've just got a sprintbooster from CKS Performance. The problem is when I fit it the car will no longer rev properly. I switch the engine on and I can get one good rev and then the pedal becomes unresponsive. The only way to get the revs about idle is to floor the pedal and they will then climb slowly.

If I take the sprintbooster off the car is back to normal.

It obviously looks like a duff item but before I send it back I was just wondering if anyone else has had something similar, maybe found a way to fix it?

Thanks

Another member - I forget who had a similar problem - and returned theirs for a replacement. I wonder whether they sent the same unit to you!!??

Call them up.....there is a procedure that you have to go through to reset things to get it working properly. Can't remember what it is buy CKS know what you have to do.

As the throttle comes in quicker some ecm's respond by going into Limp mode. drive it normal for a few starts so it can adapt.
