I locked my keys in the boot today

Opening the boot with full hands with the wee button on the remote , only to discover once id shut it that the keys were in there too .... doh ...

Lucky i had my mobile and a spare set was sent for

One to be careful for .....

I've always been scared of doing that! Good job your keys were within 'deliverable' distance, would have been a little more difficult if you were 200 miles from home!

I used to carry the "Flat Emergency key" for such a problem, but now they do not supply one.

suppose its another reason for me to get keyless go next time.

Im sure thats got a transponder that doesnt let you lock the boot with the key in it.

I once watched a demo when I was at COMDEX in Vegas where MB could send a remote release to your car if you did this (after proving your identity)

Is this a US only feature or is it available in UK?

Only in America surely, it must be an optional extra for dumb americans.
