I've had enough and I'm taking them to the Sheriff Court

Go for it, Just make sure you have all your Photographs, quotes etc and make several copies as you may have to submit them to the courts and the third party.

Dont worry as you are going to be fine................GOOD LUCK

PS ...not looking anymore for the AMG coz I found a gem....2001 C32 WITH a Brabus CONVERSION .....8,000 MILES ON THE CLOCK AND SHE IS FANTASTIC

Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone. It's likely to take a while but I'll keep you updated.

Quick update..

The summons has now been served to the defendant. I rang the clerk's office to see why it took so long and the answer was " we've been understaffed and have a backlog to deal with"

At least the slow wheels of justice are turning, albeit slowly.

I'm in Bathgate. Do you work or live there? Been under that bridge a thousand times.

I live in Edinburgh but was working at the Glen Turner distillery on Starlaw Road building one of the new storage sheds they want.

WHEN (not if) they make you an offer, it will probably be just above insult level, suggest you work out what it ought to be, so that you can instantly say "come back when your offer is xxxx". These big companies are mean devils to deal with.

Good Luck . :thumb:

Good Luck with your case.

Similar to you, I do not like driving under bridges when there are pedestrians/workers above and if it is safe to do so, I change lanes so that I do not pass directly underneath them.

My memory also goes back to the case when a block of concrete was dropped from above onto the windscreen of a car driving along a motorway killing the driver.

Pass that a couple of times a day. What are the vertical cylinder things for? Looks more like a refinery.

Haven't been that way for a while now, so not sure what you're referring to. Could be grain silos? We were round the back building sheds.
