Joining a dual carriageway or motorway

Thinking about it, there are of course times when the right thing to do is to slow down to let someone out from a slip road. For instance when the traffic is very heavy and already well below the NSL with no evident places for slip road traffic to merge in.

If I’m blocked from entering the motorway from the slip road by some pedant I simply blast straight up the hard shoulder spraying debris all over their car!
