Karting GTG, Castle Combe

Have a good time all.

Don't forget to keep scores so that we all know who the speed demons are!!

Many Thanks for arranging today Andrew, totally enjoyed it, even if we did come 4th :( :D :D
I’m starting to ache all over now, tomorrow will be interesting!

Good to meet some new faces, and chat with the old ones :D

Matt.

Thanx Matt for the first report back - looking forward to hearing more - and seeing the evidence :D

Was great fun - thanks to all who attended for a cracking afternoon of driving. I am now cured from karting addiction for some time. I feel like I have been run over by a double decker bus. Will post a link to pics later.

What an excellent day!!! :D Our team came third despite my driving :p Actually Flyer lived up to his name and bagged fastest lap of the day. :bannana:

Many thanks to Andy (aka Flyer) for taking the time in organising this great day out and thanks to everyone for making the day so enjoyable :D

Matt, I'm pretty sure you wont be the only one aching later  Likewise it was good to meet new faces and catch up with old friends.

I forgot my camera :o but I noticed that Andy and Scott were taking plenty of snaps.

Totally awesome day :D

Thanks Andrew,

Had a great time... I wont mention where team 500SL came :(

Hope to c everyone again soon.

Jay

Cheers guys, was a great day (despite missing my turn-off for the M5 and almost ending up in Wales :D ) That's what you get for ignoring Blanche (comand).

Ache? Oh, yes! It'll get better ...

Steve Perry, Peter Church and I spent an enjoyable hour or so in a tasty golf club just around the corner from Castle Combe; pity no-one else could make it.

Here's the results:

Stunning result from Team V8RKY  Rumours that Richie had slipped one of the marshals 20 notes to add a couple of laps to their tally remain unconfirmed :D Seriously chaps, great driving ...

Jay, don't worry, I won't mention where your team came ... damn, sorry! :D

I'll put my pictures up on Scott's thread.

Thanks guys; would it be worth doing it again??

Cheers
Andrew

I am karting again on Wednesday morning in Reading. I don't think I'll feel good enough by then. Totally destroyed.

I think there's an error in the team numbers Andrew.

Thanks for arranging a great day mate, I really enjoyed it. I've just transfered the extra £7.50 to your account.

Thanks Richard, now corrected.

3 hours next time, eh? :D

Thanks for the transfer also :)

Was a fantastic day... thanks to everyone for making it memorable! We just nailed it from the start which gave us an ealy lead as our average laptime of 29sec shows - although we both would have been in much less pain if we'd just slipped the marshals some cash... :D

Flyer, sorry not to have posted my thanks earlier - have been working out of the office for a couple of days.
Brilliant day which must have taken a lot of organising. Many thanks and good to meet all who attended.
Drove home (100 miles) very concerned that I had lost movement and feeling in my left arm, but had returned by mon morning!

PS cracking lap that - 25.59!

Cheers Nick, was a very good day. Might be an annual event if there's enough interest (more than this time! :D )

Have you looked at the pics in the other thread?

[schumachermode]I was lucky with the traffic[/schumachermode] ;)

Richie and Richie were the stars; 8 lap lead; 3.5 minutes! Stunning
