For everyones info who has keyless and enrty has stopped working..
Car was in at an indie for a job and mentioned the issue with the drivers door keyless entry. (Now MB wanted an hrs labour to run the diagnostics to establish what was wrong). So shortly after dropping the car off i got a call from the guy who said, "yes its the handle, popped it off and can see it is that, i can have you one here for the morning". Sorted as he was having the car over night anyway.
Just been to pick it up and all works well, the handle was £142 + VAT (209 CLK) and came ready painted and the indie charged 0.5hr labour to diagnose and fit new one. Cant grummble at that..
