Kitchen refurb

I got Borsch washing machine, nearly 15years old, still going strong!

And the rest are Smeg, excellent so far except when one of the extractor's fan light cover broke, I thought I could just get a cover for it, BUT NO WAY JOSE! you have to get a complete light unit at around £70!!! Its ridiculous, i just left it as it is.

I was warned off Smeg as being unreliable and over priced; and that advice was from several sources.

Touch wood, I have my Smeg appliances for probably 6 years now, it's been totally reliable, and the quality is excellent.

Although next time I will look at the availability of parts as well before i commit to buying.

As above, time has come for new kitchen and dishwasher, the fridge and the cooker are still usable.Ideally bespoke oak,and ideas for dishwasher brand. Thanks for all ideas...
An idea for you if its not too late.
Think I would get myself a induction cooker as well, its efficient, easy to clean and rather sleek looking!

Yes - induction hob & pyrolytic oven - so easy to keep clean.
We deliberately avoided any beko appliances. For the dishwasher we went on spec & price, looking for a quiet machine. (had previously had bosch which we left behind when we moved & before that a siemens which didn't last particularly long). Picked a Kenwood which leaked on first use. Repair man attends, fixes leak and on filling in his paperwork advises that the machine was made in Turkey - a Beko:wallbash:

We are on our second built in Smeg fridge/freezer...the first was replaced after nearly two years because the inner casing was cracked. So far this one has lasted 3 years...but I'm not holding my breath.

They really are rubbish.

SMUG actually replaced something. I'm amazed, did you need to use a lawyer?
