Hey peeps
Relatively new here. I was hoping to introduce myself properly with some car/upgrade pics at least or something... however I've come across an annoying situation with my car.
Recently wanted to upgrade all exterior lighting on the car. Number plate LED's fitted (+ some scratched paintwork in the process :fail)
I ordered the whiter eyelid bulbs- can't really comment on how they look until night fall later, they were quite easy to fit.
Bought x4 Osram Nightbreaker unlimited H7's for the main and dipped beams, mainly because my drivers side low beam looked a lovely pure white yet my passenger side bulb looking a horrible yellow, hence ordering new ones as I thought it was on it's way out.
So I just replaced all four (not as hard as I thought it would be) Pulled out my drivers side low beam H7 and the entire bulb is blue! All other bulbs were clear- so this explains why it was a different colour. Now I'm just wondering if it was a legal bulb due to the colour of it now it's out in my hand, I've included a picture of it... can anyone shed some light as to where on the scale of kelvins that would be?
Whilst driving with it in it wasn't producing any glare, never had anyone flash etc, it was actually perfect. Looking on the scale the output looks 5000K, but with how blue the bulb physically, is I'm not sure if it's something ridiculously high. Car is a 2010 C Class Saloon (Halogens, obviously )
