Locating W210 Pollen Filters

I have a 2001 E220 cdi avantgarde I've taken the glove box out but there does'nt apear to be any filters behind it. I've seen the how to guide but mine looks different is there an alternative location for the filters?

Take the panel under the glovebox off...its in there. Its only behind the glove box if you have the Climate control.

There are two versions on yours just as renault suggests.

I've removed the panel under the glove box all thats there is the fan. I want to check the filters because its taking a long time to demist the windscreen and i suspect the filters are blocked reducing airflow previous cars have all cleared the screen a lot faster than this even the toyota hilux I had cleared the screen in just a couple of minutes this is taking around 10 minutes to clear.
