Looking at an E320 CDI Estate with big miles - what to look out for?

Also check the metal gearbox oil pipes which run into the rad - mine were very rusty and wouldn't have lasted much longer. Huge bill potential if they rot through!!
 
You could have a quick peek here at the join with the rear flexy although they do rust for their entire length under the rear tray.

Thanks. Proper paint, it's satin 'Ebony Black' sold by COO-VAR and is oil based. Marketed as a restoration product to get round the Greenies hatred of anything with high VOC content I use it for the suspension on the 107 and is really hard-wearing.
