Love the 507 'go faster' stripes .....

I rang the dealer today and the AMG stripes kit is a whopping £580 ! Ouch

Mercedes always price this type of special edition stuff at astronomical prices to discourage exactly what you intend to do.

The first pic is nice but the decal is a bit light and if you get a bit of dirt on car especially in the snow you wont be able to notice the decal.

I would opt for a colour in between the second and third picture if I were doing it.

I like option 2. Don't get CF. I think it is fine to wrap parts to make them look CF but a bit odd to put a stripe on that is clearly vinyl CF effect?

The reason I commented as I did was due to my question being one of 'which ones should I choose', rather than 'should I choose or not'

If you're going for it, why not go for the last one. It may not match the calipers for colour but it will show up more and will make more of a statement, as Felstmiester said!

You are right - I have a 1988 Audi quattro, that has go faster stripes and a brown interior

I went for a Matt anthracite in the end. I think it looks great and am really pleased with the results. By having them 'tailor made' they fit absolutely perfectl too (better than the OEM 507 set which cost far more !). I will post up some pics when I get some time tmrw

It looks a bit darker than when in the sunlight but gives a decent idea. Very pleased with the graphics - they are an exact copy of the real thing that costs 4 times the amount plus fitting on top !!
