I've just had a star diagnostic on my W140 and the only fault code (After chnaging one of the coil packs) was for "secondary air injection - left" . I don't have any warning lights on the dash, or any other indication of a problem.
All the other posts I've seen on the subject have been for newer generations of engines, so I thought it was worth checking whether it's something expensive to fix, and even whether it's worth bothering?
For ref, the car has had a de-cat before I brought it back to the UK as cats aren't requried over there. could the fault code be related?
