got engine light come up yesterday, when checked codes it had p0102 which points to maf, when i opened the engine bay i saw that one of the wires to the large plug on maf broken, it is right at the plug so no way to solder it, does anyone know part number to replace cable, it looks a big job as it runs back to the fuel line which look like has to be removed to access the other end of the cable, is this the case...

thanks any help appreciated

There should be a part number on the plug.

So i would order a new plug and pins and put a new one in that way.

there is a number but it is not a mercedes part numer 52588 0

and it looks like its part of the whole engine wiring loom, what i might do is buy a second hand loom and just use the plug, save dismantling whole loom, but if you know where i can get plug and pins i would be very grateful

Mb parts dept will get you one just take your vin in,or go to a breaker and chop one off re-solder and wrap.

Just had a look on epc. Depending on chassis number and age of vehicle. You are looking around £35 for connector and pins for it.

just an update, went to dealer and they sold me the plug for £2 and each cable was £1.10 each so thank you for youre help
