MAF replacement and faults

    W210 E320Cdi Estate
    would you have to get the faults cleared after replacing a MAF on a W210 320CDI, to get it out of 'limp' mode (no kick down and 3000rpm limit). Or just putting a new MAF in would do it ??

    New MAF should just work.
