Mains operated tyre pump

I can concur the Waeco Mobitronic 240V to 12V rectifier seems to do what it says on the box.
Thank goodness for that. :o

This gizzmo was our third atempt at finding something suitable and I must confess to getting concerned that you hadn't replied.

I set out that evening to test it but actually found none of my tyres needed any air - I drew the line at letting them down to inflate again!

I find myself going down this road as I'm changing air pressures in tyres depending on which garage I'm at! So I think its time I had my own compressor.

Has anyone any further advice or updates on their individual purchases? If anyone knows of any special offers / deals thats available/ they've used, I'd like to hear about them also.

Thanks in advance as usual.

Cheers

:)

The Argos Air Monster is currently half price I'm going to buy one today
Welcome to the forum and your first post:)

Could you give me a link to the air monster please? I just logged on to Agos and could not find it :o :o :o

I was saying that it looks like a pump for mattresses not tyres, but then read the description!
I got a copy of your first message :D :D

I still feel guilty about not finding it when I did my search:o :o Although I am not a fan of these rechargeable thingies.

these were on offer in Aldi with the five piece accessories kit for £65! i bought one for home needless to say... works a treat.

Hi Nick,
Thank you very much for taking the time to post that link. What I was after was a small, light, very portable pump that I could use anywhere around the house (back garden, driveway, garage etc) The 12 volt examples are what I want but with the ability to plug into the mains. I eventually settled for a mains adapter that then allowed the 12 volt pump to work in the various locations.

Regards
John
