MB Nokia Car kit for 6210

Hi,

I'm having some problems with MB 6210 car kit. When the phone is put in the cradle, it does not charge and it does not always switch to handsfree operation.

I have just had delivered the 6310i control module and with this in place with the 6310i phone, and it still does not work.

Has anyone ever installed/removed/taken apart the phone kit and point me in the direction to where to start fault finding with this?

Whilst trying you tip I found that PIN 9 (L_GND CHARGER / LOGIC GND) on the cradle had been pushed right down into the connector, only sometimes making contact with the phone.
I pulled it back up with the needle, cleaned the contacts, and hey presto! It works again!!

I then changed the control module for the 6310i version, so I can now use the newer phone! :bannana: :bannana:
