MBClub and PCS GTG 2014 on the 17th of May

Sorry guys, I'm out. Car's not ready and little one's unwell. Enjoy!

Sorry, I'm out. MoT failed again on emissions so not driveable. At the moment I'm sorely tempted to strip anything of reasonable value off and crush the rest.

Folks, with great regret I wont make this for 2nd year running despite best intent. I' certain it will a fantastic day with the weather forecast enabling Rashman to attend, all the great raffle goodies and Olly's great hospitality, and the decontamination suit to get close to winning car of clean car competition.

I am looking forward to seeing the great pictures and postings of the event.

Hope to see you all soon.

Sorry Olly.
Kamal

Is it just me or are there an unusually high number of drop outs this year! I just hope our hosts are happy with this as they are offering it all free with raffle prizes for a charity all kindly donated

I will down late Saturday as have to do family things, hopefully getting there about 12:15

Well, things are not looking good for the 210. Managed to get a (well) used caliper (it was the only one I could get from a breakers yard but would have got me an MOT until I got a new part) and the garage said they thought the thread would shear off however gentle they were with it. I told them to give it their best (gentle) shot but to no avail. I was there when it sheared. Tried tapping out a new hole without success.

So I'll rise early and see how my back feels about travelling in the Vito (2 hours in it today collecting the part etc. didn't do me any favours).

After missing last year, I will be so hacked off of I don't make it this year, there are so many people I want to meet and catch up with. Here's hoping I can travel...

Olly,

If it's not too late, I can donate a couple of sets of number plates for the raffle?

Not the most glamorous donation... But everyone needs them!

Cheers,

Darren.
Elite Plates/ERB.

The time is almost here for the biggest GTG we have ever had. It maybe the biggest GTG the forum has ever had. A huge amount of work has gone into this event this time. I really hope you all like what we have done.

We will be raising money for the motor trade charity BEN. So bring plenty of ££ as there are some fantastic prizes in the raffle. Remember this is a free event put on by us at PCS.

The timings are as follows:

9:30 at the workshop (unless otherwise instucted) www.prestigecarservice.co.uk

People that are having work done are to park on our forecourt in the spaces provided and hand your keys to either me, Jack or Graham. We will be in our black work uniform to identify us.

13:00 Start making you way to the pub www.thegeorgefinchdean.co.uk There will be signs to instruct you where to go. It is only 5 mins down the road.

At the workshop and the pub there will be car park attendants in high visability jackets to instruct you where to park. We have limted space and we need everyone to park sensibly. We have worked out that we can fit you all in, no problem.

Jerry and Paul from Eurocharged

Jerry is coming over from the US to tune a few cars for us all. There are still some spaces free for tuning. This is a fantasic chance to get your pride and joy mapped by a expert.

Boring bits

When you arrive at the pub you will be instucted to park at the rear. There is an entrance just past the pub on the right hand side through a gate. Parking will be in a herring-bone formation.
When you have parked you will then need to register at the registration table. There you will pick up your bagde. Your badge will have your real name on and your forum name. This will help identify you to other menmbers. The badge will entiltle you to the FREE BBQ food being served. Drinks will be available at the pub. No bagde-no food.

The George in is in a rural area, it is in fact where I live. Please remember that Finchdean has a 30MPH limit and there are horses on the road often. Just please drive carfully through the village and keep the noise to a minimum. What you do outside the village is up to you

We have set up a website for the event and giving it a brand name so we can continue doing this every year. www.benzonthegreen.co.uk

Cannot be there but can I buy some raffle tickets?

Olly/organisers-really sorry for the late response but I can I come along tomorrow please? Can I take slot 49 please? It will be me and my brother: Reflexboy+Reflexboy's fat, bald brother! My partner's Mother worked for BEN for over 12 years and my partner also works in the motor trade so I am well aware of the excellent work they do and what a fine charity tomorrow is all about.

********!!!!

Sorry Olly, I'm not able to make this now :( First time in heavens knows how many years....
