Media Interface Plus in use at same time with USB memory stick

I have recently purchased MIP and found when i plug in the MIP USB interface, the MIP plus related menus are no longer shown while a USB is inseted into the USB adapter. It seems that either Media Interface Plus or USB cable with USB memory can be used but not at same time.

Both bluetooth to handset are operating as bluetooth audio streaming is working, as well as making voice calls.

Has anyone experienced that you cannot use USB MP3 simulataneously with Media Interface Plus?

Hi,

Just to add this query is regarding W203 2006 c-class retrofitted with NTG2.5 Comand and media interface.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
