Hi All,

This is my first post, my wife has just bought a CLC 220 sport CDI, and as I am into my classics/spare vehicle I fancied getting an old Merc, either a Jeep 4 x 4 as I have just sold my old Rangerover, or preferably an old Merc estate a W123 model..... I have 2500 cash but that would be for one that needs nothing doing to it and has newish MOT. I note that the Jeeps are very cheap and was wondering why....

Thanks,

Donald.

Testing my skills at getting photo on here .....................

It worked but a little big, sorry...................

Still too big anyway I am looking for either an ML or an old estate, I will add post to wanted section....

When I say jeep in mean the ML not the older G-Wagon, I would love a G-Wagon but dont think I could get one for my budget, so I was considering the ML which I thought was a 4 x 4 but they seem very cheap, what I will probably get is a W125 Estate and have seen many for well under my budget....

Now that I want to see; a W125 estate. Even having the less desirable body it may be a tad more than £2500:D

My father-in-law was a dyed-in-the-wool BMW man; member of the club, ran two M6 CSis, helped out on events & published in their magazine... When he decided he needed a towcar, he roadtested the X5 and hated it - so he bought an ML instead, and has never shut up about how much better it is!
