Hi Guys,
I am looking to get a set of these MB valve caps. Are they any good and how do they look on the wheels. Do they cover the entire black stem?

Yeah i read all the posts on here previously but am itching to get some... proba will disappear within days though!!

they are really nice but it seems me that too nice, high stolen risk. As far as the valve lenght, I saw two different lenght: normally on alloy wheel are shorter than the ones installed on steel wheel with hubcaps, but hey, probably it's a small detail and with alloy wheel they should fit really Ok.

given the evidence from some of the posts on here and the number of victims a quick walk around sainsburys car park and you could have yourself 4 or 5 sets!

what is the part number for these and how much do they cost?

they look nice and might not fit kiddie bike tyres, which is where my last lot of stainless valve caps ended up (from stainless valve stems I should add :( ).

Am not sure what the price is... that was my next on my list.

I read somewhere in previous posts that they were 75p each from the stealers but am not sure if they were the same ones.

Had something similar on an MX5, and they went within days. If you get some, make sure you tighten them to blazes with a spanner or pair of pliers, just so they won't come off easily by hand.

I went for a set of these locking ones Click Me It was auction not Buy It Now and got them for £7 delivered. Keep your eye on his items he does regularly have the Mercedes ones

My last set looked great but lasted 2 days!! Chrome ones last about 2 weeks . Black Plastic ones last forever;)

I have a set of these, but I have lost them before they have got anywhere near my wheels. Cant remember the actual cost but they were under £1 I think.

How about some part numbers guys, or indeed some indication of which model they're off please! :)

MB6 6 47 2001 GF096A Valve Cap. £0.43 + VAT.

Found them and my invoice today. Now I am not sure if i like them or not

I like the idea of them being much bigger than the black plastic ones so there is less chance of me losing them in the dark when I'm checking pressures!

I will see if I can order them from my local stealership, cheers Tan!

Ordered 4 valve caps.

B6 647 2001 : Valve Cap : £0.51 inc VAT

if they're the wrong ones then I only wasted £2 ;)

The caps don't completely cover the valves on my current wheels, which isn't what I'd use them on anyway...

So what would you use them on then?

It seems that they are a little too short.
