Hi, ive read that this is common for the top section of the door module to fail on the w220 ie, the seat functions, mirrors in/out and adjust, memory, heated seats, but ive got all functions gone, including all electric windows x 4 and the boot release and soft close. I parked the car up one night and all was fine, came to it the next day and nothing works on the door, the remote keyfob still locks a 4 doors fine and everything else in the car is fine, i need the car but calnt use it as the mirrors are in the closed position. ive been out with the multi meter and all fuses are fine under the rear seat and under the bonnet, could it be a relay under the rear seat? i just removed the courtesy light cover to check the fuses so did not remove the rear seat.

If i remove the battery terminal for a while will i need the radio code as i have no books with the car to give me the code?

Please can anyone help who has had this fault or knows someone who has

found this part, and in a thread on here someone had the exact same problem as mine and he replaced the module, would it be this one in the photo, as it has multi outlets in the rear is this the master module that goes wrong and feeds all the others on the door?

Check the wiring in the door hinge first, make sure the main earth or live hasn't snapped, otherwise it will be the door control unit you have pictured, match the part number.
