Merc's new website is now up and fully running. It is a vast improvement on the old which had different layouts for various models and no coherent system. Dimensions were missing for a long while from the new C class and from the R class but now all the data seems to be there. Good videos too.

Needs a bit of polishing:

Home page doesn't quite render properly in Safari.

I tried the E-Class configurator and it mixed Euros and German descriptions of options.

Star logo usage is inconsistent (new white one looks poor).

Not just Safari. It doesn't render properly in IE6 or IE7 either!! Both News and Quick Entry selections are obscured.

Seems to work fine in Firefox though.

I have Internet Explorer version 7 and it is very nice. Just configured a few cars, watched a video and looked at the AMG site.

Very good,

Regards

Thats not fair as they have fixed it. When I tried it in the early hours it was not that good,, but as you say good now :)

I have it in Firefox but cannot read it all

Hmm it seems fine in Firefox 1.5.0.2, on a MacBook. Not all there in Safari though.
It is a noticeable improvement on the old site, although I still can't get the price of an E-Class estate down to something I could ever afford.....

Still no info on the facelift SLK ... :(

Odd, I got errors when first selecting the link but when I tried the German site for comparison and came back, it all worked with firefox
