Mic in interior light panel

I have a parrot unit in the car that the previous owner had installed (however they cut the mic head off L ). I have brought a new mic and would like to run it the interior light cluster. However I am not sure how to dismantle the cluster.. Does anyone have any tips/pic or have done something similar.

Alfie and Richard (both are members on this forum) installed my mic right next to the light cluster, not inside... it is small and discrete and not really an issue.

Having seen Richard taking his own SL apart, I doubt that he was cutting corners on my mic - I tend to believe that it is a better place for it to be outside the lights cluster than inside.
