MISERABLE FOLK!

I actually find that quite offensive.

I now expect you to write an apology.

I doubt I'll accept it but I still expect you to write one.

Otherwise I'll get more offended.
You just wait your turn! I haven’t finished offending others yet😉😜

The usual comment to people like me seen filling their 'thirsty' V8's up is " Oooo , I bet you come her often , how far will you get on that top up ?" etc etc .

I did have a younger bloke come up to me and tell me his dad has a MB and would be jealous that he had seen a C55 AMG estate and spoken to it's owner (Brad Pitt , eat your heart out) obviously the kid don't get out much. !

Same thing happened to me yesterday , i was in Tesco car park waiting on the missus and decided to check the tyre pressures on my new GLB , next thing a foreigner in a tweed skirt approached me , dont know what he said but it sounded very aggressive plus as i was bending down and he was "commando" i got a right eyeful , which put me right off my dinner as it looked as if there was some "chaffing" going on as tweed and skin is not a harmonious relationship.

Tried to communicate with him but he just muttered something and headed into Tesco , probably to buy some Sudocrem for his nasty predicament.

Some people - eh.

K

Post of the year 😁

Some people are just born miserable, I've had a few people comment on the A35 when I'm out and about which is quite a surprise and quite nice to be honest. On one occasion I was at the Petrol Station filling it up when a head appeared from in between the pumps shouting "nice car mate!", I nearly sh*t myself.

I had the same reaction to my A35. A grey one with fed leather seats and 998cc engine. Still see them racing in classics.

I went out to my local Tesco this afternoon, (Beer Run) Parked about 20 Feet from another White GLB 73 Plate, locked my car and when I passed the other GLB commented to the bloke who was checking his Tyre Pressures!:

"Very Nice Car, excellent Colour, very nice choice of Motor";)

Reply: "What makes you think you have the right and audacity to comment on what car I am driving Chunter, Chunter, Chunter"

FFS, What is the World coming to! :dk::doh::wallbash::mad:
Sounds like he's gone too far up his own backside.

I only get compliments at petrol stations when the car is clean 😂. One guy was shocked when I told him I got 33mpg on the motorway. The best compliment (well to me a compliment) I get is when 1. I pick up my daughter from my parents or in-laws and my daughter hears the car and runs to the door 2. I go to my sisters house and my nephew’s are home (they hear the car) and run to the door ❤️

My mrs gets way more compliments in the C63 than I do but guess that’s because she’s attractive and I’m not 🤣

I think he means....

I was actually thinking of this:

I always say hello back to strangers that say hello to me but it only happens when I'm with Mrs M
Whenever I say hi/nod first rarely anyone replies so I've given up.

My car is now 8.5 years old, gle bought brand new. Parked, reverse parked up against a fence away for other car, I've had a few comments as we get in/out of the car, "nice car" s the bloke, blokes way past the car - it makes my day. My car only gets washed on the outside on average in the recent 6.6 years about once every 10 months but the inside is clean as it does not get dirts, mats and shaken out. Incredibly, last week another guy said "nice car" car parked in the supermarket car park backed up against wall and tyres at a slight angle, made my day😃 - I also have a 4 digit number plate which IMO makes the car look better.

The man that John N encountered, I will always remember those comments and will not compliment a stranger's car again unless we get talking. Some
people are better ignored. There is no reasonable explanation for those very necessary comments but let's all be thankful we are not like that :)

Perhaps he'd seen yours, and thoght it was much nicer than his, and thought you were being sarcastic. Or maybe he hates the thing, and really wanted an Audi, but his wife made him buy it. What sort of age was this grump?

Or maybe he wass a Sassenach and jist couldnae understand ye...

A possibility but no need for comments like that.

How often has your mum told you "don't speak to strange men", especially in a Tesco car park in England:oops:
