Ml270 Cdi Tip 2004

Just bought this ML a few weeks ago - we love it but to be onest im dissapointed with its performance - It seems to reeally struggle going up banks - Cant see it ever doing over 90mph - up or even down bank ! - After 70 mph it seems to be struggling - Is this normal ? - It runs great and smooth - Could there be a problem with it - becasue its still under warranty !

Yes Sounds Like You Could Have A Problem, If Still Under Warranty Take It Straight Back, Hope You Sort Problem,

What could the problem be - any ideas ??? - Could it be serious ??

Either blocked Cat or faulty MAF would be the first ports of call, probably the MAF sensor.

Are they big jobs ???? - The motor runs perfect apart from on the motorway ! - Great round town ! - Would that be the case ?

They are both small jobs, especially the MAF, 5 mins to fit and very common.

If you think it goes well now, wait until it's fixed.
