ML270 Heated Seats

The heating on the driver's seat (but not the seat-back) on my 2002 ML270 has ceased to work. Does anyone know the most likely cause of this?

If it should be the element, where would I get one at a reasonable price?

Very likely to be the element. Do a search on heated seat and you'll find lots of information as it's a common fault. Part numbers, prices, etc.

It's probably best get a new part rather than from a breaker, as it's only a matter of time before the used one goes too.

Hi Derry-I had exactly the same problem on my partner's Grand Cherokee. More than likely it will be a similar set up, as both the Jeep and the ML are made by Daimler-Benz.
