:bannana::bannana:well i changed the manifold at the weekend and tbh not as bad a job as some people have said, that said you do need to have some mechanicail know how about you,i saw that some say you need to remove the fuel rail,no you don't but you will need to unbolt it and lift it,of course you will need to disconnect the feeds for the injectors(not bad at all to do) or you can leave the rail in place but you will need a new copper banjo seal for the end of the rail at the back as the last manifold bolt as a return bleed port right over top of it,I'm guessing the copper seal might be merc order part, all in all it took me 8 hours to strip off old manifold and replace with new and new stepper motor, now the cost, from merc deal the manifold is £834 plus vat, motor is £151 plus vat then the seals which come in at around £17 so very expensive and if you want them to do the work not much change out of £1900
now to buy online depends on where you get them from,i do a lot of mods to my map track car and learnt many years ago to avoid cheaper copies as you will end up paying more and most of the stuff don't fit, well the link to the manifold i bout from KMSPARTONLINE here in the uk is a great buy i must say, motor is made by pierburg as for manifold I'm not sure but the one thing i am sure about is the fitment, fits perfectly, here is the linkhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400887558896?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT,this kit comes with everything you need so don't be thinking **** there is no manifold gasket (the great big long one)correct this kit don't have that because you don't need it,i did think about going down the route of getting rid of the swirl flaps but the power loss to me is not worth that, this kit will bring your car back to life, and before you starting thinking..... no i don't work for kms lol but when i come across something worth a good write up i will and i know most people think the same as me about none genuine parts so i hope this helps,so you know where to go if you want one, here is a few pics of my ml when i was doing manifold
