new to the forum and a noob to MB ownership!
Just got an 08/2002 ML270 Auto in Travertine/Java with lots of bits!
picked it up at the weekend, very pleased with with it, no loose trim etc and its unmarked.
I have come from an 02 E46 M3 convertible which i unfortunately wrecked last month!
What i want to know is has anyone had a ML270CDi remapped/chipped and how much of an improvement?
who did it..... Superchips? DMS?
Just want to get a bit more shovel out of it. Superchips say +30bhp and more importantly +80ft/lb!!!
Has anyone had a the same engine but in the C or E class and had that remapped??
I had a BMW 330D done at superchips which gave approx 387ft/lb
and would leave WRX scoobies through the gears from 70 to vmax (150+)and still get over 40mpg
