ML350 rattling door

Hello, here is my first post. I have a ML350 Sport, 06 plate, 20500 miles.
Last week my neighbour gave the front passenger door a slam and the following morning it had developed an annoying rattle.
It seems to be coming from behind the silver (fake aluminium) plastic insert at the top of the door. Is this a common rattle, and do you know an easy fix ?

Perhaps the clips have broken? I know that could be an obvious explanation, have you looked on EPC to see how the part fixes in?

Thank you, that could well be making the type of noise I am hearing.

EPC is abbreviated for electronic parts catalogue.

1. Follow this link ????????-??????? ????????????? DETALI.RU - ???????? ??? ????? ????????. its a Russian parts website.

2. Click on Mercedes in the left hand column.

3. Enter your vin at the top.

4. Then search the sub-categories, a wild geuss unit attachment parts, I am probably wrong though.

I have found the rattle in my "passenger door"...

Over the last week or so I have realised that my wife has not heard the rattle.

When solo, I get the annoying rattle. Today I clipped the seat belt buckle into the clip and hey presto, no rattle !

Thought it might be the belt and clip coming into contact with the passenger door - but no, it is just the female end next to the centre tunnel touching/vibrating on contact....

Will try a bit of blue tack to stop the metalic contact
