Mobil 1 New Life in my C280, is it worth it??

As per the title.

Looking to do a DIY oil change on my W202 C280 (Inline 6) but am not sure whether Mobil 1 New life 0w/40 is worth a punt to possibly improve performance or more likely to cause me unnecessary headaches with leaks around the engine?

Should I just stick to normal Mobil 1 - 10w/40??

I doubt if you will notice the difference in performance. I would stick with the normal.

any decent 10w40 is fine for your car.

A good quality 10W40 semi synthetic together with a filter change every 6-7.5k miles -- it will go on for ever.

Will stick to some Mobil 2000 and a good flush out before hand.
