I could never use two feet with mine, I always ended up trying to press the brake pedal before lifting fully off the accelerator and it would make a horrid grinding noise - it didn't take long to get used to 'one foot' driving after that lol

he likely stamped on the accellerator instead of the brake. :rolleyes:

I see it's being checked for 'mechanical defects' ...... :rolleyes:

They should check him for 'useless old nutter' defects before they blame the car.

The article states that he "said he had opened his door to retrieve a dropped parking ticket when his automatic car 'shot off'." Sounds to me like he extended his leg into the footwell to counterbalance himself, and managed to poke the accelerator. I seem to recall the last person we heard about trying something like this was a former boy band member, who ended up running himself over. :rolleyes:
