My Mercedes needs a body repair and paint job

I am a new member currently repairing my Mercedes SL300 and am looking for someone who can do a body repair and paint job on it. Also if you know anybody professional, who can do it let me know.

Sorry to hijack the thread but my love for older Mercs means a decent bodyshop that's come recommended in the Leicester area is always handy.

Would recommend a visit to Andy's Autobarn, they're in Ashford, Middlesex (near to Heathrow). He's very experienced with the older models and was a proper MB-trained bodywork guy working in the main dealer for many years.

Has done bodywork for me on several cars over the years, always to my satisfaction and resolves any issues without quibble

Another vote for Andy , his work is just amongst the best there is.

Never had a problem with any work I've had done there.

I've used Bob in Northampton - details in the link below, he sorted my E90 before i sold it and because he knew i was selling it he did some extra work at no cost - finish and quality was excellent and prices very reasonable
