The number plate choice was easy for this one, I have SHxx MEE on all the current cars, but 67 being both the current registration period and also 1967 being the year AMG was founded made it all too easy.

I've been fortunate enough to have two outings to date in the SLS AMG Black Series and both times I have been completely smitten. Unfortunately however the ship has sailed on the price tag with a current market value of circa £550,000 for a UK car (perhaps £100,000 less for a LHD European one) - which rather rules me out! I'm very much looking forward to jelling with the GT R and putting it through its paces through the next period; starting off with some 325 rear section winter tyres so that weather doesn't stop the fun!

I reserve them at the DVLA so it's £399 including the assignment fee, not too bad. I've got more than enough of them now though so probably about time I stop!

Great car & looks cracking in black. They certainly on my radar if my bank balance improves.

What a fantastic day to collect the car with Nico & a blast round the MB World track. We take the Masers to MB World for parade laps on Supercar Sunday & Auto Italia. Great fun to open them up a smidge round there.

I'm not much of a social media fan or supporter but will make the effort to have a look a some of your videos. Great car & enjoy.

As a marque new car handover that must be up there as one of the best. The yellow accents on the calipers, seatbelts and controls provide just enough contrast to the black.
