Decided as my C Class Estate is now coming up to 4 years old I would like a change to take into account the new engines and the 7Gplus auto. My car has been excellent. I was considering an E Class coupe but now I wonder if I should have another C Estate because they are a true multi-purpose vehicle. If goung for the C then IMHO the Estate looks better than the saloon. Not sure really what to go for but I do wonder if I bought the E coupe whether I would miss the versatility of the Estate. The mpg for the 4 pot diesels is amazing and a huge improvement over mine which has averaged over its 36K miles 1mpg over the MB combined figure of 41mpg. I haven' driven the 250 cdi but I have the new 220 and like my present car there is more than enough power.
