Make sure you change the waterpump at 70k. I had this car the C32 estate identical to yours it was my favourite car of all time, please don't sell it. I had the head unit changed (which was a hassle as believe it or not the speakers are fibre optic bose). No problems with the car its the ultimate stealth car.

Its almost 3 times 70K so should have been done at least one by now!

You’d be surprised, I only had my water pump changed on my W211 at 250k when it started leaking

I sold mine at 89K ,couldn't stop the rust in the wheel arches otherwise a great car.

Yeah I think the arches will need attention at least every couple of years. Unfortunately a problem with this era of MB.

I’ll be avoiding using it when the roads are gritted to try and prevent any rust emerging now it’s been fixed.

Yeah - no point selling it now as the mileage will put a lot of people off.

I know it mechanically and cosmetically wants for nothing though.
