I would post a picture of my SLK in Mystic Red, if I knew how.

Porsche offered a brown on the 997 that, to me, really didn't work...........

Every other day I drive past a 928 in that metallic brown they used to do. It's just sitting there, unloved and waiting for someone to make a rash offer to buy it and restore it's former glory. Even as a dull, tatty heap it looks good.

Funny how colours go in/out of fashion. 10 years ago only police cars and vans were usually white, then a few years ago every wannabe wag wanted a white RR sport..!


Deep red metallics were popular in the late 80s/early 90s IIRC - Ford Granadas and Rovers etc.

I think once a colour starts to become common, people switch off and look elsewhere

Here's a E63 in Mystic Red.

I'm not sure if that ones available now - but that was one of the £5000 options. We asked about Mystic Blue, Mystic Red and Mauritius Blue - all the same cost and + 3 months. Which is a shame.

That looks nice but I find the conifgurator can be very misleading with colours. That could be post office red when you see it in person!
