Are those factory tinted windows? It's hard to tell from the photos if they are tinted or not.
I have factory tints on my lowly c class, but only the back half. I was thinking of getting the front door glass done, but obviously not as dark as the rest.

I'd have some new plates for the sake of £25.
The old one's are looking tatty and letting the car down.
Next month transfering my private plates "S500 BOR" from my old S class.
Know plates are a bit "worn" we can say at the moment
