Found more information, The scrote pleaded Not Guilty to the following, despite being dragged from the car in her front garden, having demolished the fence!! How can a court even entertain a plea like that? Now no action till at least January next year...

Aggravated vehicle taking - (initial taker) vehicle and property damage under £5000
Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence - endorsable offence
Use a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance

Look on the bright side - if he pleaded guilty, he'd probably get a sentence reduction.
