in AU only the Elegance or Avantgarde models are fitted with front door puddle lights (bottom of door) installed. The classic comes with that hole covered over even though you can feel the hard plastic is missing - just covered in felt.
I opened the door trim up and found that the puddle light harness was already in the door only taped up in a bundle with the other door harnesses.
I extended the harness, I already had the puddle light fittings (long time mod planned long ago).
After cutting the felt out of the hole in the bottom of the trim, I fed the cable and attached the light. looks just like OEM, works when the light level is low and does not need any programming.
Total cost = $20
