need advice on which clk to buy

I have a 209 clk500 and it's great. I've had no issues engine or gearbox, it does like tyres so factor this in. I get around 17 mpg round town, the best I've got on a run is about 28, did see 30 but that was down hill! If you don't do a huge mileage then the v8 is defiantly worth it.

I bought my GF a clk 500 convertible, fantastic car, 18 months later and the only problem was a micro switch failure for the roof.
It is a one owner, 59.000 mls, FMBSH and was a mere £6k, thats what i call a bargain for a 50k motor.
It returns as good if not better mpg than the 330ci convertible she had before.

The M113 is a very strong lump with minimal issues.

I've had two now, both excellent. The 430 makes a very good case for itself especially with the roof down, sounds glorious with the centre resonator and cats removed.

My best friend has a CLK320 and quite frankly it only ever did 1 or 2 mpg more then my 430 which in turn was marginally better then my 55. They're all crap on fuel lol.

Thats the first thing i had done to the GF's and it sounds better than my SL55 .
